Why can I not connect Deepnet to Active Directory?
Why can I not connect Deepnet to Active Directory?
Solution
Here is a list of Active Directory errors:
525 - user not found
52e - invalid credentials
530 - not permitted to logon at this time
532 - password expired
533 - account disabled
701 - account expired
773 - user must reset password
A lot of the time the userDN can be incorrectly entered. We suggest using ADSIEdit to get the correct string.
ADSIEdit is a tool from MS Resource Kit tools, you can also download it from
http://www.computerperformance.co.uk/w2k3/utilities/adsi_edit.htm
Alternatively, you can run one application called GetMyDN.exe in domain to
get DN.
It can be downloaded from
http://download.softerra.com/files/GetMyDN.zip
Use exactly the string that GetMyDN displays.
